So very jealous! I can’t even imagine what it would be like to live there. If I ever won the lottery, the first thing I would do is buy a house on a barrier island. I have family in the SC hill country, but last October was my first time on the coast.
October was lovely–the water was still warm, the air temperature was pleasant and it seemed relatively quiet. The sound of the ocean is as soothing to me as rain on a tin roof.

Yes! I cannot imagine but those are our 2 busiest months. Most of the local (including me) make that our travel time!
